Jose Vinny Valenzuela Jr - Bio
Deputy Marshal Jose Valenzuela Jr. is a U.S. Army veteran who served in Desert Storm. He began with the U.S. Marshals Service in 1999 as a detention enforcement officer. As a deputy, supervisory criminal investigator, and senior judicial security inspector, he was assigned to every district operational division in Arizona. After 9/11, he assisted the joint terrorism task force. He became a U.S. Customs & Immigration Treasury Enforcement Communications Control Officer, U.S. Marshals Lead Mexican Investigative Liaison Investigator (USMS MIL), and did several temporary duty assignments at the U.S. Marshals Foreign Field office in Mexico City. Valenzuela initiated, coordinated and conducted many international and foreign fugitive arrests, extraditions and deportations and conducted major national US Marshals' fugitive roundups. During his career, he utilized techniques learned from a wide variety of advanced training courses.
