Shoothouse Instructor Certification

Students are exposed to all the elements required for the safe operation of live fire training scenarios in the shoothouse environment.

    Live Fire Ammunition: Quality, factory loaded only
  • 300 rounds of lead free, non-toxic, non-jacketed frangible ammunition
  • 100 rounds of lead free, non-toxic, non-jacketed frangible ammunition if student brings a shoulder fired weapon (optional)

  • Isaac Lopez - Bio
    Isaac Lopez began his career in 1990 with the Orange County (FL) Sheriff’s Office. He served on SWAT where he was an assistant team leader and the lead rifle instructor. His law enforcement experience includes various assignments, including patrol, tourist-oriented policing, problem-oriented policing, criminal investigations (auto theft unit), training (range unit), and academy coordinator. Lopez is a certified instructor for defensive tactics, O.C., firearms, less-lethal munitions, scenario-based training, active shooter, Taser, shoot house, and SAVE. He is also a Master Pistol and Master Rifle Instructor for Sig Sauer Academy. Lopez has taught and/or worked for Sig Sauer Academy, Axon/Taser International, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and was an SME for the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Institute of Police Technology and Management-Orlando Office, Valencia Criminal Justice Institute, and the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC), Jordan. He is an instructor for the NTOA as well as a former regional director for the NTOA. He is also an active member of SWAT Round-Up International, where he competed and has served on the Competition and Training Committees.
