The seminar will demonstrate and focus on understanding adult learning methods and training taxonomy. Specific discussions will lead students through the deconstruction of element tasks so that building blocks may be created. Proper documentation and various models of training will be emphasized.

Tobie Weberg - Bio
Tobie Weberg was appointed to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office in November of 1992. He served as a detective in the General Investigations Unit, Warrant Squad, and Gun Reduction Interdiction Program. He also was assigned to the US Marshal's Fugitive Task Force. He was the Officer-in-Charge of the Gun Reduction Interdiction Program until creating the Targeted Enforcement Unit, which he supervised. As a senior commander, he was the Patrol Division Commander. In 2009, he was promoted to Deputy Inspector. He was the commanding officer for the Police Services Bureau, including the Criminal Investigations Division, Patrol Division, Airport Division, and Courts Division. In 2017, he was promoted to Undersheriff, where he was the commanding officer over the agency's day-to-day operations. Tobie was a member of the Sheriff's SWAT Team for 21 years and served as the SWAT Commander from 2006 - 2017. Tobie is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and currently is a Program Manager for the NTOA. He has been an instructor with the NTOA since 2015.
