This presentation is a mixture of both millennial leadership in the 21st century and understanding the differences in leadership principles. Discussion will include a cumulative perspective as a young SWAT leader, as well as the principles learned in the NTOA Command College.

Drew Leblanc - Bio
Lt. Drew LeBlanc served in the United States Navy from 2005-2009, where he received the Navy and Marine Corps achievement medal for exemplary leadership. During his tenure in the US Navy, he also graduated top of his class at Vessel Board Search and Seizure school. Transitioning from the United States Navy, LeBlanc started his career with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office in 2010, where he has held positions as a corrections deputy, patrol deputy, SWAT Operator, Crimes Against Persons Detective, Deputy SWAT Commander, Research and Development Lieutenant, and SWAT policy, procedure, and standards liaison. LeBlanc also served in the Louisiana National Guard from 2012-2015, where he received both the Army Achievement medal for heroic acts that saved two lives, as well as the Army Accommodation Medal for exemplary leadership. He holds a Masters of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University, has completed the FBI LEEDA Trilogy and holds a two-star credible leader certification from the NTOA Command College.
