The CATO After Action Review Team will present the lessons learned from numerous large-scale critical incidents. The focus of the presentation will be on decision making, equipment needs, strategy and tactics, and current training gaps. While SWAT related lessons learned will be covered, they are not the sole focus of the presentation.

Travis Norton - Bio
Lt. Travis Norton has been with the Oceanside Police Department in Southern California since 1999. He was on his department's tactical team from 2003 to 2009 and from 2011 to 2018 he served as a team leader. He holds a masters degree in Emergency Services Administration from Cal State Long Beach and is an instructor for CATO, NTOA, and Field Command. He also leads the CATO After Action Review Team.
