Lilian began her law enforcement career in 2002, when she joined the Dutch Police Academy. After completing her training, she started working as a criminal investigator with the Amsterdam Police. In 2008, she joined the Vice Squad, where she remains. Her work has given her extensive experience handling complex and sensitive cases, as well as working with people in challenging and often highly emotional situations. In 2012, Lilian became a police negotiator. In this role, she developed strong skills in communication, conflict management, and negotiation, often under high pressure. After more than ten years as a negotiator, she ended this chapter of her career in 2023. Her career has been defined by versatility, dedication, and a genuine passion for working with people. In addition to her law enforcement assignments, Lilian serves as an Assistant District Attorney.
