Patrick Doering retired after a 28.5 year career with the Lake St. Louis (MO) Police Department. He was a Crisis/Hostage Negotiator for 20 of those years and spent the last three years as the Commander of the St. Charles County Regional Crisis Negotiation Team. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, the FBI National Crisis Negotiation Course, and the London Metropolitan Police (Scotland Yard) National Negotiators course. Patrick is the former President and co-founder of the Missouri Association of Crisis Negotiators. He has presented case studies at several negotiation conferences across the country. He is currently the Crisis Negotiation Section Chair for the National Tactical Officers Association.

Ms. McMahon serves as a senior instructor and curriculum developer for Crisis Hostage Negotiation and Peer Support Programs for Crisis Systems Management, LLC. Ms. McMahon retired as a Special Agent of the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division. Prior to her retirement, Ms. McMahon was an instructor assigned to Operations and Investigations Division, Advanced Law Enforcement Training, U. S. Army Military Police School, Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Ms. McMahon instructed advanced law enforcement subjects to criminal investigators who were assigned to municipal, state, and federal law enforcement agencies from throughout the world. In addition to her instructional duties, Ms. McMahon developed specialized advanced law enforcement training programs. During her twenty-one years of law enforcement experience, Ms. McMahon has performed such diverse duties as patrol, traffic accident investigation, desk sergeant, covert drug investigator, criminal investigator, protective services agent, and crime scene and evidence technician. She has also served as a senior criminalistics advisor, evidence program manager, and in a variety of positions on Crisis Response Teams. Ms. McMahon served in supervisory capacities as Task Force Commander, Drug Suppression Team Chief, and as Operations NCO to a seventy-person protective service security element for the 50th Anniversary NATO Summit. Operational assignments have taken Ms. McMahon throughout the United States, Europe and the Middle East. Some of Ms. McMahon's technical education and training include numerous Crisis and Hostage Negotiations courses, Countering Terrorism, Traffic Accident Investigation, Advanced Fraud Investigation, Protective Services, Child Abuse Prevention/Investigative Techniques, numerous advanced interview courses, gang training courses, and several Drug Enforcement Administration training courses. In addition to her technical training, Ms. McMahon has also attended more than twenty-six weeks of advanced leadership development and management training. Ms. McMahon has earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both Criminal Justice and Psychology. In a variety of environments, Ms. McMahon has served as a member of a crisis response team and has negotiated numerous hostage, barricaded subjects and potential suicide incidents. In addition to her practical experience, Ms. McMahon has authored Crisis Response Plans, has planned, executed and supervised major crisis response training events, and has published numerous professional articles on a variety of law enforcement topics, including crisis negotiation and crisis negotiation training. Ms. McMahon is currently the Training Director for the Missouri Association of Crisis Negotiators. Ms. McMahon has Bachelor of Science Degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Drury University.

Morgan Krumeich, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist, a crisis negotiator with the Butler Emergency Services Unit (ESU), and a member of the Pittsburgh CISM team. She specializes in supporting the mental health and resiliency of first responders, including police officers, SWAT operators, EMS personnel, firefighters, and critical care nursing staff. As founder of AHN Sentinel, Dr. Krumeich leads a program dedicated to enhancing first responder wellness through evidence-based training, peer support, and critical incident debriefings. Sentinel partners with public safety agencies and district attorney offices to provide tailored, practical strategies that prevent burnout, manage stress, and mitigate trauma exposure in high-pressure environments. Dr. Krumeich combines clinical expertise with operational field experience, equipping individuals and teams with actionable tools to navigate life-threatening and high-stakes situations. She is committed to advancing best practices, reducing the stigma surrounding mental health in public safety, fostering organizational resilience, and integrating psychological support into tactical and emergency operations.

Sergeant Michael Clyde began his career with the Iowa State Patrol in 2005 and was assigned to the Capitol Complex District. Michael was then promoted to Trooper II and assigned to the Executive Protection Unit. While on the EPU he provided worldwide protection for Iowa's First Family and visiting dignitaries. After a four-year term on the EPU he was assigned to patrol duties in Iowa's busiest district, District 1 Des Moines. While assigned to patrol duties Michael was tasked with additional responsibilities as an FTO, Technical Accident Investigator, Background Investigator, Technical Flight Officer, and Crisis Negotiator. In 2017 Trooper Clyde was promoted to Senior Trooper Pilot with the Iowa State Patrol Airwing where he served for two years. In 2021 Michael was promoted to Sergeant and currently serves as the Assistant District Commander for the Capitol Complex and Governors Security District. Sergeant Clyde is actively involved in the field of crisis negotiation and currently serves as the Area A Crisis Negotiation Team Leader. Sergeant Clyde has written and facilitated numerous training scenarios as well as facilitated Statewide training events. He has spoken and presented nationally on the topic of Rural and Roadside Negotiations. Sergeant Clyde serves on the Board of the Iowa Crisis Negotiators Association and is a member of the National Tactical Officers Association. Sergeant Clyde has a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration from Western Illinois University.
