This presentation introduces the concept of Tactical Air Superiority and the integration of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) into SWAT and tactical operations. Attendees will explore how to effectively deploy UAS to support high-risk missions, enhance situational awareness, and provide real-time intelligence. Instruction includes the coordinated use of multiple unmanned systems, including robotics, to support synchronized operational tempo. The course aligns with Law Enforcement Drone Association (LEDA) and National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) standards, focusing on practical applications, team integration, and operational effectiveness.

As the UAS Commander for St. Charles County Police Department in Missouri and Tactical Drone Operator for the Regional SWAT team, John Yeast has pioneered the integration of multi-disciplined public safety agencies in the region, founding the Eastern Missouri UAS Public Safety Group. Yeast's leadership also extends to his roles with the Law Enforcement Drone Association (LEDA) and as CEO and co-founder of Remote Tactical Solutions (RTS) Group. A career public safety professional, he is recognized as an international subject matter expert in public safety UAS operations.
