Gavin Todd - Bio
Constable Gavin Todd has over 21 years of experience in public order and public safety, with a focus on training and instruction. For the past 15 years, he has held various roles within the Police Service of Northern Ireland, including Public Order Instructor, Water Cannon Instructor, and Public Order Public Safety Command Instructor. Gavin has trained officers in crowd control, water cannon operation, and strategic decision-making, both locally and internationally, including in Oman. As Lead Public Order Public Safety Advisor, he has provided guidance to operational commanders to ensure adherence to best practices and National Guidelines. Gavin holds a Level 5 Diploma in Teaching and a Level 4 NVQ in Spectator Safety Management, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to professional development and excellence.

John Sayers - Bio
Chief Inspector John Sayers has dedicated 29 years to serving as a police officer and currently holds the position of Head of Tactical Training for the Police Service of Northern Ireland. In this role, he is responsible for the organizational training of various critical areas, including firearms, public order and public safety training (with a focus on commanders), close protection training, personal safety programs, dog training, boat training, driver training, and search training. Throughout his career, John has worked in various roles across policing, holding key positions within the Police Service of Northern Ireland in local policing, professional standards, and headquarters. Additionally, John is an experienced Silver and Bronze Public Order Commander, as well as a Tactical Firearms Commander.
