Officer Ashley Luedtke has served with the Austin Police Department since 2010. In addition to her role as a police officer, she is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), bringing a unique blend of compassion and tactical expertise to her work. In 2018, she became a certified hostage negotiator and has since played a vital role in high-stakes crisis situations. As a member of the department's Negotiator Training Cadre, Officer Luedtke is actively involved in developing training programs and mentoring new negotiators. Currently assigned to the night shift patrol, she continues to serve the Austin community with professionalism, dedication, and a strong commitment to de-escalation and public safety.
