Nicholas Alamshaw - Bio
Lt. Nick Alamshaw has served with the Scottsdale Police Department in Arizona since 2007. He joined the SWAT team in 2010 and has been assigned as a Precision Rifle Observer, Entry Operator, and Officer in Charge. While on the team, he was an instructor in multiple disciplines, including Firearms, Less Lethal, Chemical Munitions, Physical Fitness, CQB, Pepperball, and Taser. In 2018, Lt. Alamshaw was promoted to Sergeant and became a team leader. Lt. Alamshaw is currently the Tactical Operations Section Lieutenant. As the Lieutenant for this section, he manages and leads the Technical Operations Unit (TOU) and Special Assignments Unit (SAU). Lt. Alamshaw is also the primary SWAT Commander. From 2018-2021, he served on the Arizona Tactical Officers Association Board of Directors and held positions as Treasurer and Secretary. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and is also a United States Marine Corps veteran.

Scott Galbraith - Bio
Scott Galbraith is currently assigned as a Sergeant with the Tactical Operations Section for the Scottsdale Police Department in Arizona. Within the Tactical Operations Section, Sgt. Galbraith leads one of the Special Assignments Unit (SAU), which is the full-time component of the Scottsdale SWAT Team. Sgt. During his time with the Special Assignments Unit/SWAT Team, Sgt. Galbraith has gained experience as an operator, SWAT Training officer, SWAT Selection lead, and Sergeant Team Leader. Sgt. Galbraith has operational experience with planning and serving hundreds of high-risk search warrants, handling armed barricades, numerous crisis entry situations, hostage rescue, open field tracking, vehicle interdictions, and violent fugitive apprehensions. The Scottsdale SWAT Team is comprised of a SWAT Commander (Lieutenant) and alternate Commander, two full time squads (SAU), one decentralized squad, Technical operation squad, K9 squad, Tactical EMS squad, and a Crisis Negotiation squad.
