Incident Debrief: Multiple Officers Down: Barricaded Suspect

Harris County SWAT was actively participating in a man hunt for a shooting suspect of a Harris County Deputy during a traffic stop. The suspect was potentially located by US Marshall's and entry was made at the residence by the Marshall's. Multiple officers were struck with gun fire from the barricaded suspect. HCSO SWAT responded and took tactical command of the scene. The suspect was located in a rear bedroom closet on the second floor. HCSO Rook breached the location and the suspect climbed onto the Rook boom and was lowered to awaiting SWAT members after a 6 hour stand off.

Deputy Scott Cogburn Harris County Sheriff'ss Office SWAT Scott Cogburn has twenty years of experience in State and Local law enforcement. He is currently assigned to the Harris County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team as a full time member. Scott has been on the team for the past 8 years and has served as Team Leader for the past three years. Scott holds a Master Peace Officer Certificate, has participated in overseeing the Active Shooter program in his agency and has earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston.

Todd Klosterman - Bio
Sergeant Todd Klosterman Harris County Sheriff's Office SWAT Todd Klosterman has over twenty years of experience in law enforcement in Harris County. He is an original member of the Harris County Sheriffâ?Ts Office SWAT unit and served on the team for six years before being promoted to Sergeant. He has since been reassigned to SWAT and serves as a Sergeant with the team. He holds a Master Peace Officer Certificate, is a TCOLE Firearms Instructor, and has earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Sam Houston State University.
