Sean Pollock - Bio
Inspector Sean Pollock is a 23-year member of the Winnipeg Police Service and, during the course of his career has worked in patrol, community support, specialized investigations, traffic, and time at the training division. He was promoted to Inspector in 2022 and is currently the divisional commander of the Operational Support Division, overseeing all special operations portfolios for the Winnipeg Police Service. Inspector Pollock joined the Crisis Negotiation Unit in 2011 and has been deployed to a variety of crisis incidents, including suicidal individuals, barricaded subjects, and high-risk warrants. He is a Critical Incident Commander, an adjunct faculty member with the Canadian Police College, and a member of the instructing cadre for the National Tactical Officers Association. The province of Manitoba awarded Inspector Pollock the Excellence in Law Enforcement Award.

Kara Gubbins - Bio
Corporal Gubbins is an 18 year member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and during the course of here she has worked as a patrol supervisor, in a high risk domestic violence unit and major crime. She is currently in charge of a major crime unit at the Sidney/North Saanich RCMP Detachment on Vancouver Island. Corporal Gubbins joined the Vancouver Island Crisis Negotiator Team (CNT) in 2015 and has been deployed to a variety of critical incidents including armed and barricaded subjects, suicidal persons and high risk warrants. She is a designated Negotiator Liaison Officer in her CNT and has instructed for the Canadian Police College on crisis negotiations. In 2016, she was awarded a Commander's Commendation for her role in the high risk rescue of a suicidal male on a rooftop parkade.
