This course will prepare first responders (e.g., law enforcement, fire and rescue personnel, public safety partners, etc.) to operate within a warm zone environment and to provide point-of-wounding care to patients.

  • Edward Anderson - Bio
    Ed Anderson has been a sworn law enforcement officer since 1992 and has served as a multi-discipline trainer, curriculum writer, and subject matter expert for the Seattle Police Department since 2009. He specializes in Rapid Intervention Active Shooter Mitigation Tactics, Complex Coordinated Attack Response, and Joint EMS/LE Rescue Task Force operations along with Law Enforcement Casualty Care. He additionally serves as the department's UASI Region 6 Lead Coordinator for joint regional training and exercises.
